Butan Blips are a carp shaped blip. They feed on vegetable matter. They will attack any group they feel is a threat, having long ago learned that offence is the best form of defence. Strangers are particularly prone to be attacked on sight.
Butan Blips start a combat by making a Ki Shout. Opponents who have less hit dice or levels must make a will save at DC 18. Those who fail are shaken and suffer a -2 moral penalty on attack rolls, saves and skill checks.
After that, the creatures will attack with their bite.
Regeneration (Ex): Fire damage deals normal damage. If the blip is cut into more than one piece, each piece will regenerate into a separate blip. The size of piece required for any regeneration is greater than 10% of the original creature.
Resistant (Ex): Ignore the first 30 points of water based damage in any single attack. This includes frozen water attack types such as ice storm.
Magical Beast Dark Vision to 60 feet.
Butan Blips are used in intelligent societies much as cattle are on worlds with gravity. They normally have a mild temperament. They are domicile when around normal handlers but become aggressive in the presence of strangers, particularly when the strangers are of an unknown species.
Some wealthy individuals keep these creatures as guards.
